(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Award winning director Alexander DeVoe comes out on top again, by receiving 18 nominations for AVN's 2010 AVN Awards Program, to be held at the Pearl Theater in The Palm Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas on January 9th, 2010.

When asked about his nominations, DeVoe was very pleased; "I am very excited to have received 18 nominations for the 2010 AVN Awards. I had no idea I would get so many! Definitely for me, this has been a breakthrough year."

DeVoe, who started out as a performer in 1999, began directing in 2001 and has since directed over 200 titles.

In 2008, DeVoe was nominated for an AVN Award for ''Director of the Year'' and won Best Director (Body of Work) at the 2008 Urban X Awards. DeVoe also won two AVN Awards for ''Best Ethnic-Themed release'' and ''Best Ethnic-Themed Series''.

DeVoe went on to say, "I really worked hard to create hot scenes that were worthy of an AVN nomination. It's always an honor to be recognized by AVN for producing a great product. I would like to thank everyone who participated in the DeVoe experience of making classic American Hardcore. Let’s get it!"
