Rising Star Signs Francesca Le, LeWood

(VENICE, CA) -- Rising Star PR is proud to announce the addition of Francesca Lé and the production company she and husband Mark Wood own, LéWood Productions, to its roster.
Francesca has been in the adult industry since 1990, performing in more than 250 titles and directing dozens more. She married performer Mark Wood in 2000 and two years later the pair established LéWood Productions. This summer the company will release its 100th movie. Among the hundreds of titles under her belt, Francesca has appeared in popular favorites such as Girlvana 3, Tiffany and Cumpany 2, Centerfold and Momma Knows Best 6.
For years Francesca has been in high demand not only for hardcore productions, but has also been enormously popular in the fetish and wresting genres. She has won AVN Awards for Best Group Sex Scene (New Wave Hookers 3) and Best Oral Sex Scene (Cum Swallowing Whores 2). She is in the AVN and XRCO Hall of Fames and was recently named the 2009 CAVR MILF of the Year.
Mark has not only performed in more than 1,200 titles, he has directed nearly 200, dating back to 2000. He has appeared in many chart-toppers, including the Office: A XXX Parody, Forever Stormy and the upcoming Desert Stormy 2. He won the 2009 AVN Award for Best Ethnic-Themed Series, recognizing the popular Red Light District series Young Tight Latinas, which he has directed since 2006. He has also helmed such lines as Wasted Youth, Rated T for Teen, Smothered N’ Covered and All About Ass.
Despite the accolades and the immense body of work, they have kept a surprisingly low profile in the industry, maintaining busy schedules working for other companies while building LéWood. Mark has directed regularly for Red Light District for several years, and has also shot for Visual Images, Legend Video, Devil’s Film and his own NxTLvL. Francesca has directed for Red Light District, Platinum X Pictures, Extreme Associates and others.
''Looking at the numbers and the list of movies, it’s really hard to believe,'' Francesca said, ''but we really don’t stop working, so there’s not a lot of time to stop and think about these things.''
She said that times are tougher now than ever in the adult industry and she felt that, after 15 years in the business, it was time to start really promoting herself and the company.
''I don’t think any of us saw the industry changing so much so quickly,'' she said. ''These days we need every advantage we can get and it’s no time for staying low profile. We have a lot going on and we want to make sure people hear about it.''
