(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has released a public service announcement (PSA) featuring Catalina Cruz for the Restricted to Adults – RTA Website Label. Cruz is the owner of Fantasy Girl Revenue and was recently named AVN's 2009 Web Starlet of the Year.

The PSA features Cruz encouraging parents to use parental filtering software in order to protect children from viewing age-inappropriate content and is now available for viewing on YouTube.com/ASACPRTA. The video is the fourth in an ongoing series of PSAs produced by ASACP featuring different adult entertainment stars. Previous RTA PSAs featured Stormy Daniels, Sunny Leone, Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld.

Cruz oversaw production of the video and recruited veteran industry photographer Dean Capture to edit the video.

''We are so pleased that Catalina Cruz approached ASACP and volunteered to create this PAS in order to help us get out the message that parents need to be involved in protecting their children online,'' stated ASACP CEO Joan Irvine. ''ASACP relies on the initiative of volunteers in order to carry out our mission to protect children online. Cruz not only donated her time and resources to create this PSA, she contributed financially by becoming an ASACP approved member.''

''Out of all the things I've been involved with on the internet over the years, being a part of the RTA ‘Restricted to Adults’ Website Label Public Service Announcement campaign is the most important to me. My fan base has always been solely on the internet and I have always felt strongly about protecting children online. Since many of us are parents in the adult industry too, whether you work in front of the camera or behind, we believe it’s important to give parents resources to block adult content. I am honored to have done a public service announcement for ASACP and follow such recognizable names like Tera, Stormy, and Sunny. I hope I can generate awareness about the RTA label and that others will help get the word out as well,'' stated Cruz. She added, ''A special thank you to industry photographer, Dean Capture for his time and editing skills and also to ASACP for doing something so positive for our industry for many years.''

RTA is the adult entertainment industry’s initiative to protect children from viewing content that is age-inappropriate. It was developed by ASACP out of a need for an easy to use and internationally recognized label that designates content for adults only. The RTA label is a unique string of ''meta data'' which can easily be inserted into the computer code of any website. Parental filtering software recognizes the tag and prevents children from viewing adult content. The RTA label is free and universally available. ASACP launched RTA in November 2006 and currently over 4.5 million sites have labeled with RTA.

RTA has been honored by the American Society of Association Executives and the Center for Association Leadership, Washington, DC. Additionally ASACP has received Certificates of Recognition from Congresswoman Jane Harmon, the California State Senate, the California State Assembly, and the Mayors of Los Angeles, San Diego, Redondo Beach, and the City of West Hollywood acknowledging ASACP’s efforts to help parents prevent their children from viewing age- inappropriate content with the RTA website label.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP battles child pornography through its Cp reporting hotline, and by organizing the efforts of the online adult industry to combat the heinous crime of child sexual abuse. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online. For more information, go to www.ASACP.org and www.RTAlabel.org.
