(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Award winning Tommy Gunn, one of the industry’s top respected male stars, is nominated for six AVN Awards including male performer of the year at the upcoming AVN Awards that will be taking place on January 10th at Mandalay Bay in Vegas.
''I just wanted to express how much it means to have been nominated this year by AVN,'' stated Gunn, ''I have received six nominations, and I'm extremely jazzed. 'Best Actor' for New Sensations 'Hearts and Minds 2' definitely hit home because of the obvious. Its a love story and it honors our troops who are away from there families in these difficult times, and the fact that it was with my real life girl friend at the time, but no longer, Ashlynn Brooke really meant a lot to me. And to have been a major part of that Awesome Movie and to have portrayed a real life situation. I actually cried the first time I saw the movie.'' Gunn adds; ''Secondly 'Best Supporting Actor' for the Block Buster sequel to Pirates 'Pirates 2 Stagnetti's Revenge' which again is for obvious reasons...to have a movie title named after your character, this Big. It’s just jaw dropping. I knew I had to step up my performance from the last installment and take Stagnetti to a new level with his evil ominous present, which was very difficult. I had to transform into Stagnetti in the makeup chair for 3 hours a day before I even set foot onto the set. Not to mention take on a voice and whole complete character when diving into this role, not to mention the five full days of sword fight training we had to complete in order to get the sequence Joone was looking for, not to mention not kill each other in the process...I couldn't have been reserved at all, if I was to perform they way I wanted to. I feel like we all pulled it off and made the second part of history.''
Gunn’s third nomination is for Digital Playgrounds ''Cheerleaders,'' Best Group Sex Scene which was really Hot and Exciting. Gunn’s fourth and fifth nominations are for ''Best POV scenes'' Jacks Playground 9 with Digital playground Contract star Stoya.
Gunn is also up for his very first Directing debut with his lovely counter part New Sensations contract star Ashlynn Brooke, titled ''Tommy Gunns Point Blank.'' This Nomination was very important to Gunn and Brooke and they are anxiously awaiting the results.
Gunn states ''I thank AVN and everyone who made this past great year possible. I also want to congratulate all of the those performers nominated. Have a wonderful Holiday, and I'll see ya in Vegas.''
