Batman's Belfry: A! Wild Evening At The Bordello

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- We met the alluring Madame Sunset once before at the Gwen Media Bondage Ball in Hollywood and we knew right away we just had to see her again, so when we heard she was doing another show at the Bordello Bar in Downtown Los Angeles we gathered the A! Crew and made our way out to see the sexy kitten once again.
The Bordello Bar formally known as Little Pedro’s was once a high traffic house of Ill repute. It changed over to a bar a long time ago but still harbors the feel and swank of a house of the night. The club is decorated in red lighted chandeliers and red velvet seats adorn the room.
The night was being called ''Conspiracy'', Burlesque, Bands and Sexy was the theme for the night and when you walked in you could tell why the sexy part was added to the mix. Madame Sunset and her Hollywood Kittens performed a number of times on the stage, and the bands played sets in between the dancing shows. JD Bender played a fun set and this band ''Sin Alley'' (www.myspace.com/Sinalleylosangeles ) got on stage and whipped the crowd into a frenzy, the applause was just as loud as the amplifiers they were using, and it was loud.
Another Burlesque performer, Jade Paris, did a sexy show on stage and tempted the crowd with her strategic stripping methods. More loud rock and roll followed and then it was time for the finale which was one more performance by Madame Sunset and the Kittens.
Mojo was the host of the night and he was also informing the crowd about his new book, which he touted as a children’s book for adults, because who really like to read. He was funny as always and before bowing to the stage shows he performed his signature trick, kicking himself in the forehead with his boot while standing up, not an easy feat, go ahead try it at home.
The A! Crew was well represented for the night, Starlet Jenna Taylor, Canadian Porn star Carrie Moon, and the massive Sledge Hammer, where at our table along with Precious from www.Preciousstrippers.com who arrived about a half hour after the show started. We all had a great time and it was well worth the drive to downtown.
After the show was over we spoke with the beautiful Sunset about her life and career as a burlesque dancer.
First off you can reach Madame Sunset at her My Space page (www.myspace.com/MadameSunset) while her personal website MadameSunset.com is being completed. Sunset stated that she had been doing burlesque for a long time now and was a trained dancer and also had been trained in the art of acting.
According to Sunset the art of burlesque is meant to be sexual with out being dirty or obscene, if done properly it should not intimidate the women who watch the show but in fact should inspire them to find their own sensuality.
We asked Madame Sunset about the similarities between burlesque and the Pin Up Model world, and she told us that one of her role models was the one and only Betty Paige, she went on to say she did not care for Dita Von Teese’s performance in portraying the classic of burlesque and Pin Up Modeling, in my opinion she did not know enough about he history of it all and it just came out in the new that she has done porn too. Sunset said she has nothing against porn but the two should just not mix.
Madame Sunset put together her first show for the Viper Room down in the heart of the Hollywood scene and performed there for a long time, she is now putting together shows with anywhere from 5 to 8 Kittens and booking theaters along with her nightclub bookings she already has.
The future looks bright for the sexy dancer with the big smile, we are sure we will see her out and about again very soon.
