WICKED CONGRATULATES THEIR 2001 AVN AWARDS NOMINEES

(CANOGA PARK, CA) -- Adult Video News has posted its 2001 AVN Awards nominations, and industry leader Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that it has received over 70 mentions.
Brad Armstrong's Dream Quest, the latest in a series of highly successful co-ventures between Wicked Pictures and Adam & Eve, garnered 20 nominations, including Best Film and Best Director. And while only in it's first full year as a player in the DVD market, Wicked snared six nominations in DVD related catergories, including Best DVD and Best DVD Extras for the interactive edition of Dream Quest.
Twenty titles - nearly half of Wicked's output for the past year - have received nominations from AVN. Contributions from Jonathan Morgan, Brad Willis, Jenna Jameson, Devinn Lane, Stephanie Swift and Temptress have been acknowledged in many categories. In addition to their other nominations, Serenity is up for Performer Of The Year and Alexa has been nominated for Best New Starlet. Nominations have also been given to the Ashton View and Video Marc Dorcel lines that Wicked distributes.
Company President and Owner Steve Orenstein is proud of his company's representation in the nominations. "All of our contract creators and performers have received nominations. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the body of work we have put out this year -- and AVN's recognition of it."
