"Nightstick: Black POV" for Best POV Series
"Fresh Out the Box" for Best Pro-Am Series
AVN also recognized Devon Lee and Mercenary owner Lexington Steele's scene in "Pole Position 6: Lex POV" for Best Pov Scene, Bree Olsen in "Lex on Blondes 3" for Best Tease Performance and Missy Monroe, Lorelei Lee and Marco Banderas' scene in "Top Guns 6" for Best Threeway sex Scene.
"Mercenary's nominations are an excellent reflection of the high quality titles we produce," Steele said. "Each of our directors — Tina Tyler, Marco Banderas, Jimmy and myself — are all represented in those titles up for awards and I appreciate AVN recognizing our efforts over the past year. Mercenary is an all-sex company and our nominations reflect the time and care we've always put into our productions and the capable performers we always cast in our movies."
Steele is also nominated for the Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year award. He appeared in two episodes of Showtime's "Weeds" and an episode of FX's "Nip/Tuck." his Lexcalibur dildo was also prominently featured on HBO's "Entourage."
"Lexington Steele is a name that many people who watch porn know and I've been spending much of this year bringing that name to the mainstream," he added.
The AVN Awards Show will be held on Jan. 12, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
