VIVID OFFERS IVD CUSTOMERS A CHANCE TO BE FILM DIRECTOR FOR A DAY
Source: Pleasure Productions
by: Company Press Release
(HEIGHTSTOWN, NJ) -- After the phenomenal success of IVD's annual warehouse show, Vivid has agreed to sponsor an IVD Retailer Contest.
Contest rules are simple. Any IVD customer who agrees to purchase at least one of each Vivid New Release for the next six months qualifies as an entrant. Entrants have to sign an agreement and the purchases are automatic. The contest ends on November 15th and a winner will be chosen randomly at IVD headquarters and announced at IVD's Florida Warehouse Show this March 2001.
The prize of this contest -- roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations over a weekend and the once in a lifetime chance to be director for a day in a Vivid shoot plus a whole day's pass to Universal Studios. The IVD sales rep of the winner will also be flown in and provided round trip airfare, hotel accommodations and the theme park pass.
IVD General Manager, Mike Savage says "This is the first time Vivid has sponsored such a retailer contest. We are excited about this promotion because it shows how IVD really offers its customers more. There is no other distributor that can compete with our selection, our service and our desire to really offer our customers something above and beyond normal distributors."
When asked why Vivid chose IVD as their partner in this contest, Vivid Publicity Director Howard Levine had this to say "We try to come up with innovative ways to increase our sales. IVD is one of my biggest customers. I trust partnering with IVD in this type of promotion will achieve our objective of increased sales while at the same time build good will with IVD and their customers. Everyone ends up happy."
