Vivid-Alt Showcase At Silver Lake Film Festival

(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Eon McKai, the leading director of alternative adult film and the head of Vivid-Alt will appear at the Silver Lake Film Festival in Los Angeles, along with Vivid-Alt directors Vena Virago and Octavio Winkytiki.
McKai, who is credited as the founder of the alt-porn genre, will share the stage on "Alt Porn Night" with other top directors in the genre. Famed pin-up lensman and cutting-edge director, Octavio Winkytiki ("The Rebelle Rousers" and "Man’s Ruin") and Vena Virago, the visionary behind "Eastside Story," will represent Vivid-Alt alongside Mr. McKai. Clip reels chosen by each director will be screened on Saturday, May 5th at Los Feliz 3 (1822 Vermont Ave. / 323-664-2169) starting at 11:45 p.m. For those 18 and older.
McKai will also participate as an Alt Porn expert on the Festival’s "Porn Panel." Other panel members include professionals in the business such as veteran adult film star Nina Hartley, historian and critic Ira Levine and Director of Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation Sharon Mitchell. The panel will feature clips and discuss the development of adult films over the past 40 years. The "Porn Panel" will take place Thursday, May 10th starting at 8 p.m. at a venue to be announced.
