Die-hard fans of X are seen where the legend stars are and where the heart of the Industry is like the FOXE awards and the Showgirl Video Hall of Fame. FOXE is the first truly interactive awards show with the winners picked and voted on by the fans. Showgirl Video is more of a museum of X with stars' hand and footprints immortalized in cement.

But really, where are the true die-hard fans of the XXX Industry seen? Everywhere! They go to EVERYTHING! You see them as the familiar face in the crowd at every single convention and event where they can see their beloved stars and idols. But more particularly it's where the legend stars are and where the heart of the Industry is like the FOXE awards and the Showgirl Video Hall of Fame.

Showgirl Video's walls are lined with slabs of cement. It's more of a museum of X than a strip club with stars' hand, foot (and other) prints immortalized in cement. This year the Showgirl Hall of Fame inducted Taylor Wane, Ruby, Minka, Sean Michaels, Herschel Savage and Serena. Shauna Grant was awarded posthumously.

The event is held annually in Las Vegas timed to occur during the week of the AVN AEE. Also on stage this year were Sunny Lane, Nina Hartley, Cara Lott, Mona Lisa, Angel Kelly, Mr Marcus and Bill Margold.

Bill Margold runs the show each year as an informal gathering of legend stars and die-hard fans at Ray Pistol's Showgirl Video, 631 Las Vegas Blvd on the Strip. Showgirl Video is a New York-style nude club with booths and glass between you and the girls. The large room has a stage for the event.

I had the privilege of saying a few words honoring Herschel before he was immortalized in cement. A friend of mine, who builds and maintains websites, has been trying to give Herschel a gift for quite some time. His name is Richard Erog and when he saw the opportunity he contacted a man in Greece who owns many pornstar domains. He told his contact in Greece he wanted to make a gift of the Domain to Herschel Savage and "please bill me the minimum charge," Erog said. The charge was 500 Euros.

He has been trying to contact Herschel through other pornstars and even lawyers but it appears the only way to do it right is to do it himself. Erog had papers made up that turn the domain HerschelSavage.com over to Herschel with no strings attached. I had the honor of presenting the papers to Herschel on stage because Erog claims he is not good with words in front of people. Because of this act of generosity I recommend Richard Erog's services to the Industry.
