Dear Free Speech Coalition Member,
Please join us and representatives from the adult industry as we visit members of the California Legislature for the 10th year of Celebrating Free Speech Lobbying Days (CSFLD).
This Free Speech Coalition-organized event has become the model for cooperation and education between government and industry. Lobby Day is your opportunity to share information to dispel myths, reinforce the positive aspects of the industry, and establish interpersonal connections with key public policy makers.
Let’s face it, the people in Sacramento making decisions about how you run your business and live your life haven’t a clue about how this industry works or who works within it. We need your help. Join us--speak up--make a difference! See you there.

Lobby Day Workshops & Events
Sunday April 22
Fighting Fear & Falsehoods 3-5PM Learn techniques for pushing back when industry enemies are attacking at a local level.
Lobbying 101 7-9PM Learn the basics of lobbying, what to say, what to expect and how to influence your legislators.
Monday April 23
Pre-lobby Primer 8:30-10AM Review lobbying strategy and discuss legislative issues of interest to the adult industry. We will break into lobby teams and role play lobby visits. Lobby schedules will be assigned. Continental breakfast will be served.
Lobbying 10AM - 5PM Our industry heads to the Capital! Now is our chance to be heard and let legislators know what a vital role our industry plays in the state of California.
Reception 5 - 7PM Legislators are invited to celebrate with us as we conclude with a closing reception. Share stories of the day, exchange contact information, and evaluate our progress while sharing light refreshments.
