The 14th Nightmoves Awards Show

(TAMPA, FL) -- The Nightmoves Adult Entertainment Awards Show, now in it's 14th year, is a show basically dedicated to the talent and fans. Two awards are given in each category, one is Fan's choice, the other Editor's choice. There are also a group of awards to local talent and businesses.
The evening begins just after 7:00 pm with the red carpet outside Bricktown 54 in Clearwater. Tony Batman was emcee for interviews on the carpet and a slew of press were snapping pictures. Jay Cridlin from the St. Petersburg Times evidently didn't know any of the names of the talent as he asked who each of them were and wrote down their names. Another fellow and I were careful to spell their names for him as adult talent are notorious for names with unusual spellings.
Bricktown 54 is a multi-level wonder similar to some Las Vegas clubs I've seen. There was a buffet upstairs and a VIP section set aside for the Nightmoves entourage.
The show ran amazingly on time compared to other award shows that usually run late and overtime. It speaks well of the organizational skills of those in charge.
Hosted by Ron Jeremy, Sean Michaels and Carmen Luvana, the show included feature dance routines by Lexi LaMour, Sunny Lane, Vivian West, Whitney Wonders, Mia Rose and Dynomite. Music by Rap artists "The Message" and "B-Yon" and also the comedian Chappelow, Master Wolf's Domination demo and other tidbits were sprinkled throughout the show.
April Storm received "The Adella" award for outstanding publicity and PR this year. The Adella award was created last year and awarded to Adella O'Neil from Digital Playground. A new award this year, the "Anna Malle Triple Play Award", which will be given to an actress/feature dancer who directs or produces. This year Stormy Daniels took the award. The Lifetime Achievement award went to Jim and Ann Marie Hayek of Pure Talent, and Randy Spears.
Look for pictures of the antics that went on in the VIP area by the sometimes half naked pornstars through Nightmoves. The award winners are listed on their site at Tampashow.com/2006winners.htm linked in the box to the right.
